damage control

My approach to health is sometimes damage control.
Sometimes I eat too much junk for lunch and feel like a dinner full of green leaves will help me return to baseline. Sometimes I turn down another drink. Sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I take all my vitamins for months and sometimes I forget. Sometimes I decide to go to bed early even though I really would rather not.
Breaking down habits is hard but taking one or two steps back is normal and doesn’t need to prevent you from remembering and following the way forward. Physical, mental, and spiritual health are all sides of the same triangle.
If damage control is where you want to start regaining any part of your health, that’s exactly what you should do.
